NBA Templates
LaMelo Ball is one of 10 templates for Point Guard MyPlayer builds.This year, 2K has decided to give you a little more guidance when it comes to modeling your build after specific NBA players. If you don’t necessarily want to choose your own stats one by one from scratch, you can choose an NBA Template that’ll set your stats to mimic real players. After your stats are set with an NBA player as a base, you can customize them to your liking.
Best PG Build - 3pt Shot Hunter
3pt Shot Hunter is one of the best PG builds.This Point Guard build allows you to make an impact on both offense and defense. You’ll be able to drain threes while picking pockets, but the downside here is the lack of Driving Dunk. Anyone who prefers to rise up and dunk over defenders as a PG should alter the build to fit their style.
This build will give you access to Gold Deadeye, Glove, and Interceptor. If you want to get Gold Limitless Range, you can raise your Three-Point Shot to 96 and sacrifice a bit of Steal--it all depends on your preferences.

Best SG Build - Floor-Spacing Slasher
Floor-Spacing Slasher is for players who want to cause trouble in the lane.This Shooting Guard build is a mix of slasher and three-point threat with a bit of defense to round things out. You’ll be a bit on the shorter side with just an average Speed stat, but this build is for those of you who want to cause havoc in the lane.
The 89 Driving Dunk will unlock contact dunk animations while giving you Silver Posterizer. And you’ll still get Silver Limitless Range along with Gold Deadeye, Blow-By, and Speed Booster. Like I said before, if you want Gold Limitless Range, you can always bump Three-Point Shop up to 96 at the cost of other stats.

Best SF Build - 3 & D Threat
3 & D Threat Small Forwards are solid on both ends of the floor.This Small Forward build is similar to the one we suggested last year, as it turns you into a lockdown defender who can’t do much else except shoot threes. Your playmaking and inside scoring will be average at best, but your role is to disrupt the other team’s offense in every way.
The 96 Steal will get you Hall of Fame Right Stick Ripper--an amazing defensive badge that guarantees a few easy steals whenever you use the right stick on-ball or in passing lanes. You’ll also gain access to Hall of Fame Interceptor and Gold Glove.

This PF build will have you playing like Jaren Jackson Jr.This Power Forward build allows you to lock down the paint and grab rebounds all game long. And when you get offensive rebounds, you’ll be going back up strong every time. Your 78 Three-Point Shot is decent for a PF, but your focus will be interior scoring and defensive plays.
The 88 Interior Defense gives you Gold Post Lockdown, Anchor, and Work Horse badges. Meanwhile, the 92 Block unlocks Gold Chase Down Artist.

Best C Build - Diming Paint Beast
This C build has shades of Miami Heat Shaq.This Center build is similar to the Power Forward build above, but with much better Pass Accuracy to be able to hit open shooters whenever you get a rebound. You can still go up and finish by yourself after grabbing boards, but your passes will be able to start breaks and feed the team. Playmaking and defense are the focus here.
The 96 Pass Accuracy gives you Hall of Fame Dimer and Break Starter to become a post playmaker, while the 92 Standing Dunk gives you Gold Fast Twitch, Rise Up, and Aerial Wizard to finish around the rim.
