Call of Duty is gearing up for the sixth and final season of Modern Warfare 2. Here is everything already announced for the big update, plus some potential leaks for both Warzone and Modern Warfare 2.

Call of Duty Season 6 start times

Based on the number of days left in the battle pass, Season 6 should arrive on or around September 27. These seasonal updates usually go live at around 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST.

What to expect from Season 6

A brand-new season of Call of Duty generally includes a new 100-tier battle pass to level up, and these seasonal passes usually contain at least one operator and two DLC weapons.

Most seasons have included one or more seasonal events to earn new cosmetics and rewards. While not officially confirmed, Season 6 will likely include a Halloween-themed event like we've seen in the past few years of Call of Duty. Data miners have already suggested the game files show a Halloween-themed "The Haunting" event is planned for Season 6, with the leaks also claiming the event will include Diablo-themed operators for Lilith and Butcher.

Other leaked operators bundles for Season 6 could potentially include Spawn, Skeletor from the Masters of the Universe franchise, Ash Williams from the Evil Dead, Alucard from Hellsing, and a classic Captain Price based on the Call of Duty 2 character.

As far as new weapons go, the Season 6 DLC guns have not been leaked or revealed by Activision. Recent seasons have added several submachine guns, pistols, assault rifles, and melee weapons, so, hopefully, Season 6 will finally add a new light machine gun to Modern Warfare 2's ever-expanding weapon pool.

We don't have any specific leaks or details about multiplayer or Warzone, but Call of Duty's big seasonal updates generally bring more maps and game modes. Additionally, these updates usually include weapon balancing and bug fixes across all modes.
